Cookies, and the similar “browser storage” websites use, are small pieces of information a site keeps on your device. This page lists every one Ovnit uses, on each kind of page, and the choices you have. Ovnit is run by Ovnit LTD.

    Our public pages

ovnit.co’s public pages — the home page, pricing, product pages and documents like this one — use no analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and load nothing from other companies’ servers (even our fonts are served by us). The only thing stored is your answer to the cookie banner:

    ovnit_cookie_choice
Browser storage · Until you clear it, or until the banner's wording changes and asks again
Your answer to the cookie banner, the date you gave it and the version of the wording. Written only when you make a choice: Allow all, Necessary only, or Save my selection.

If we ever add statistics or marketing tools, they will run only if you allow them, and they will be listed here first. You can see or change your answer at any time:

Signing in and the Ovnit app

These are needed to sign in, or remember choices you make yourself inside the app. None is used for analytics or advertising, none is shared with anyone, and they are not set until you use the sign-in pages or the app.

    session
Cookie, first-party, HttpOnly · Until you close the browser; once you sign in, 14 days from your last visit
Keeps you signed in and protects forms from being submitted by another site. Set on the sign-in, sign-up and password pages and inside the app; not set on our other public pages.
    chq_theme
Browser storage · Until you clear it
Light or dark mode, after you switch it.
    chq_nav_reset
Cookie, first-party · Ten minutes at most
Set when you sign in, so the side menu starts with its groups folded. Removed the first time the menu reads it.
    nav_open_…, chq_sec_…, chq_home_open, chq_ltv_open
Browser storage · Until you clear it
Which menu groups, sections and tiles you opened or closed.
    chq_setup_done, chq_goal_hit_…
Browser storage · Until you clear it
That you finished setup, or have already been shown a goal you reached, so it is not shown again.
    chq_navScroll, chq_pulse_since
Browser storage (this tab only) · Until you close the tab
Where you had scrolled the side menu, and when the app last checked for live updates.

Pages opened by a QR code on a product

These pages are run by Ovnit for the brand that made the product. When the page opens it asks whether it may remember your device, with two buttons: “Allow” and “Essential only”. Nothing is stored on your device before you answer, and then only your answer — plus whatever you allowed. Until then the visit is counted using a temporary identifier that is kept only in the open page and forgotten when you leave it.

    chq_gdpr, chq_store, chq_ads2:…
Browser storage · Until you clear it or change your answer
Your answer to the page's storage notice. Written when you press either button, so the notice is not shown again. The chq_ads2 answer is kept per set of advertising tags it was asked about, so it never covers another brand's tags or tags added later.
    chq_v
Browser storage · Until you clear it
A random identifier for your device, so the brand can tell a return visit from a new one and connect your scans to what you do next. Only after you press “Allow”.
    chq_ab
Browser storage · Until you clear it
Which of two versions of the page you were shown, when the brand is testing one against another. Only after “Allow”.
    chq_reg_…
Browser storage · Until you clear it
That you already registered this product on this device. Only after “Allow”.

Advertising tags. If the brand has added a Meta Pixel or a Google tag to its page, they load only after you press “Allow”. Ovnit asks them to record only that the page was viewed; what else they collect depends on the brand’s own settings with Meta and Google, who set their own cookies under their own policies (Meta, Google). One “Allow” covers both remembering your device and these tags; the notice says so when the brand has added them. If you answered before the brand added tags, that answer does not cover them: the notice asks you again the next time you open the page.

Changing your answer. Use “Storage choices” at the bottom of the page: the notice opens again and your new answer replaces the old one. Clearing this site’s data in your browser also works.
